Notice for the National Capital Area Council
   
      In conjunction with the 2006 Priesthood Conferences on Scouting, the LDS Scouting Area Relationships Committee of the National Capital Area Council and Adjacent Councils has announced that it will be adjusting its role to align with the Coordinating Councils of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The new organization will consist of President Lynn C. Chapman continuing as overall relationships chairman and with specific Scouting responsibilities for the Washington DC South Coordinating Council and the stakes of Annandale, Ashburn, Centreville, Fredericksburg, McLean, Mount Vernon, Oakton, and Woodbridge.       President Dennis L. Windley will serve as Vice Chairman for the LDS Scouting Area Relationships Committee of the National Capital Area Council and Adjacent Councils with specific Scouting responsibilities for the Washington DC North Coordinating Council and the stakes of Seneca, Silver Spring, Suitland, and Washington DC.       President Clarence E. Johnson will serve as Vice Chairman for the LDS Scouting Area Relationships Committee of the National Capital Area Council and Adjacent Councils with specific Scouting responsibilities for the Baltimore Coordinating Council and the stakes of Annapolis, Baltimore, Columbia, Frederick, Martinsburg, and Winchester.       Note for LDS Scouters: Please contact your ward and stake leadership first for ward, stake, district, and council questions and training, then the above listed chairman and vice chairmen.
   
      Calendaring Note: The Quarterly Stakes Coordinating Meetings of LDS Scouting Area Relationships Committee of the National Capital Area Council and Adjacent Councils have been discontinued.
