this merit badge is #4, or what is referred to as the interview
requirement. Below is a list of sample questions to help in
completing this requirement.
Not all questions will apply to you or your family situation.
Additional questions should be added to cover areas in your interview
which should be, but might not otherwise be, included.

What kinds of things did the whole family do together - play games,
listen to radio?
Did you have an older brother or sister care for you?
Did you have to take care of a younger brother or sister?
What's the favorite thing you remember about your mother/father as a
child?
Do you remember your grandparents? What were they like?
Were you in the military? Which war? Where stationed? What did you
do?
What was the first thing you used to do on Christmas?
How did you decorate your Christmas tree?
What kinds of tricks did you play for Halloween?
What did you dress up as for Halloween?
What did you have for Thanksgiving dinner?
Did you travel to other places for holidays? Where? For What?
Did you dye Easter eggs? Have an Easter egg hunt?
What church did you go to?
Did you have any pets? What kind? What color?
What was your favorite toy?
What was your favorite food? What foods do you NOT like?
What was your first car like?
What was the best present you ever received?
Tell me about being a teenager?
What city did you live in? Tell me about your house.
What chores did you have to do at home?
